Location & Contact
Mojave Ghost sits down a quiet dirt road at the edge of town, close enough for a coffee run and far enough to hear the coyotes at night. Here's everything you need to plan the drive and settle in.
From Highway 62, take the Warren Vista exit and head south for about four miles. The pavement ends at Ocotillo Wash Road, where a hand-painted sign marks our gate. Cell service gets spotty the last mile, so we send a printed map and gate code the day before check-in.
Standard sedans handle the road fine in dry weather. After heavy rain, give the wash a few hours to drain before driving through.
About 20 minutes to the west entrance. Good for sunrise hikes at Hidden Valley or scrambling the boulders at Jumbo Rocks.
A short drive north. Pappy & Harriet's is worth the wait for dinner, and the old western storefronts make for a slow afternoon walk.
Ten minutes away for groceries, the farmers market on Saturdays, and coffee at the roastery on Highway 62.
Send us a note about the road conditions, pet policy, or whether we can hold the gate for a late arrival. We answer most messages within a day, usually from the porch.
